Associate email Elissa Elissa joined Forum in 2009 serving as the dramaturg for both parts of Angels in America by Tony Kushner. She will co-direct Amazons and Their Men by Jordan Harrison in the spring of 2010. While serving as the Literary Manager at Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company she was the production dramaturg for boom by Peter Nachtrieb, The K of D by Laura Schellhardt, Current Nobody by Melissa James Gibson, The Unmentionables by Bruce Norris, Dead Man’s Cell Phone by Sarah Ruhl, Vigils by Noah Haidle, The Faculty Room by Bridget Carpenter, and The Velvet Sky by Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa. She helped develop Fever/Dream by Sheila Callaghan, The Curious Walk of the Salamander by Kirsten Greenidge, and Origin Story by Dan LeFranc at Woolly, Mermaids, Monsters, and the World Painted Purple by Marco Ramirez, All Hail Hurricane Gordo by Carly Mensch, and Afterlife by Steve Yockey at the Kennedy Center, Dirty Business by William Mastrosimone and The War Party by Vincent Delaney at Florida Stage, and Pony by Sally Oswald at Portland Center Stage. Her directing credits include A Brief Narrative of an Extraordinary Birth of Rabbits by C. Denby Swanson (Page the Stage reading) for Forum, Measure for Measure by William Shakespeare for her short-lived company Palpable Hit, and The Skriker by Caryl Churchill and Snow Falling on Zalmon by Spencer Greenberg at Columbia University. She also spent a brief time trying to convince herself she was organized enough to be a stage manager and worked on productions of The Tempest by William Shakespeare at Columbia and Marat/Sade with 2 Distinct Motions in NYC.
