Kelly is a graduate of James Madison University where she earned a bachelor’s of arts in dance and a bachelor’s of business administration in computer information systems. She is currently dancing with the Wright Now! Performance Xperience, directed by Christalyn Wright. The company work titled TheQuestionofConception was shown in the Performance Mix Festival at Joyce SoHo. The company performed at the Michigan Women’s Festival and the annual Gooseroute Festival. In addition, Kelly worked with melissa briggs dance to create citystory, which was developed and presented through BAX in April 2002, and performed in the Philadelphia Fringe Festival, the SWEAT Series at Debaun Auditorium, and PS 122’s Avante Garde Arama. Kelly’s own choreography has been presented as part of the Underexposed Series and operation:operation at Dixon Place, the dancenow Festival 2001 at the Williamsburg Arts Nexus, and the 2004 HOT! Festival. She has performed her work at the Brooklyn Arts Exchange/BAX, SUNY Potsdam, and Long Island University.
